Intro

Since the creation of the company, requirements, quality and professionalism showed a continuous improvement. The everyday life of these artists has always fluctuated between training (the artist-man perpetually trains and informs himself) and creation of varied shows… integrating the specific personality of mentally disabled actor's universes, and the sensibility of professionals who have realized the production.

In 2000, "Théâtre du Plantin" -in a partnership with "Compagnie des Sept Mers", settled in Brussels - adopts a new approach : development of training ;
  overture to various disciplines (dance, music…) ; extension of its European contacts together with an increased participation of artists…
From a more global view, this original collaboration creates a bridge and strengthens the links between the world of the mental handicap and that of the so called normality, altogether with respect of the identity and the integrity of everyone… By all means, the objective is to let the effective artistic talents express themselves, any of each having recognised competencies.
